Little Bit o' This, Little Bit o' That

Big news, y'all! Kimye is engaged. I know you're all just as thrilled about that as I am. Haha just kidding. Although this pop culture event has absolutely no effect on my personal life, congratulations to the happy couple and I wish them all the best.

This week has been pretty successful. I've been doing some graphic design work for the ECS twitter page which is exciting. Since I got a new computer a few weeks ago and do not have money to throw around, I haven't had the chance to purchase Photoshop again.

Lucky enough, there is apparently a website that allows you to do many of the same functions as photoshop for FREE. It's called Pixlr. Maybe people who are more into graphic design have already heard of it, but I was amazed by it and will be using it quite frequently until I get that cashflow goin' and can afford the luxury of Photoshop.

I also am doing some research for the company holiday party! Priorities, people, priorities. My first work related soiree. It's safe to say I'm feelin' like a big girl. I even got a key to the office so I don't have to knock every time. I'm movin' up, y'all!

In other news, I've been doing some research on customer-employee relationships as well as the travel industry itself. I've found some cool websites that have some great content that is short and to the point. Tnooz and Alltop. Tnooz is strictly travel and hospitality, but Alltop has a little bit of everything so it gives an unbiased perspective. People in all industries should give it a look. I gotta say I like the layout of Tnooz a lot better, but that's just because I dig simple layouts.

Also, I feel the need to share what I'm wearing today because I'm pretty excited about it. I bought a new pair of Steve Madden flats yesterday and finally found my tribal print leggings. The office I work in is laid back when it comes to attire so I have a lot of freedom when it comes to my wardrobe which is awesome.

Although today is my last day this week in the office, I'm working all weekend at the restaurant so that'll be a good time. Especially that lovely double that's looming on Saturday. Overjoyed is probably how I would most describe my feelings towards it. All joking aside, I do love the people I work with and for so it's not all bad as much as I may complain about it.
